The controls
Work down the hierarchy — collective protection first, PPE last. PPE never carries the job on its own.
The RPD rule
Make safe, treat injuries, preserve notifiable-incident scenes, report promptly and assign corrective actions.
Make safeTreatPreserve sceneReportCorrectHold point — never skip
Do not disturb a notifiable-incident scene unless needed to save life, prevent further injury or make the site safe.
Preserving the scene protects the investigation — and the next worker. Only disturb it to save a life.
